Abstract:Referring to the format of Western "death cafes" and being guided by the theory of collaborative dialogue, this study introduced a "Life Bubble Tea Shop" as a platform for discussing life and death while raising a cup of tea. Utilizing descriptive qualitative research, the study engaged 22 nursing studentsin 10 life story-sharing sessions. Transcripts and reflection diaries from each meeting were transcribed and analyzed using thematic analysis method.Through the "Life Bubble Tea Shop", the study aimed to delve into nursing students’ perception of life. It revealed how nursing students interpret life, emphasizing aspects such as cherishing life, treating life equally, expressing lovefor life, and seeking the meaning of life. Additionally, nursing students explored how to lead a fulfilling life based on their understanding of life and death, encompassing preparations for death, pursuit of live goals, and maintaining a positive life attitude. In conclusion, the "Life Bubble Tea Shop" serves as a platform for nursing students to broaden their exploration of life and enhance their understanding of medical humanities. Consequently, it can be considered as a potential localized life education model for nursing professionals in Chinese mainland.
